some of the social impacts that i thought of are
1. more violence in society
2. more evolution to dangerous weapons
3. more organised crime
4. less civil society
5. bloodyer wars
in my opinon the social impact is devestating to society because it kills innocent people and causes more hatred toward the world

The catapult was one of the first cannon's it's ammunition consisted of a hundred-pound stone 600 yars in a high arc to strike the enemy behind a wall or to batter down his defenses. the catapult was made by ropes on a wooden arm that raises like a chariot pole there is a sling where the ammunition is put 4 soldiers wind it till the arm is almost level with the ground then they let it go so the rock flies out of the sling. the catipult was invented in ancient Greece (in 399 BC) by Dionysius the Elder of Syracuse.
